Transport to Sardinia

We would like to inform you that from 16.06.2021 for embarkation to Sardinia it will be sufficient to show the valid ferry ticket and valid identity document for each passenger.

The previous regulations of the Region of Sardinia have not been renewed. Thus, it is no longer necessary to undergo a Corona test, to be vaccinated or to register on the platform of the Region of Sardinia.

SARDINIA WHITE ZONE
From Monday 31st of May 2021, Sardinia will be in the "white zone".
For details see FAQ of the Italian government on the measures provided for in the zoning.

Transport to Sicily

It is not necessary to undergo a Covid 19 molecular rino-pharyngeal test to travel to Sicily. It is also not necessary to register on the platform of the Region of Sicily.

Transport to Corsica

Passengers travelling to Corsica must present at boarding

  • for vaccinated persons, the certificate of vaccination (for Pfizer, Moderna and AstraZeneca vaccines, at least 7 days must have elapsed since the second dose, and for Johnson & Johnson vaccine, 28 days must have elapsed since its administration);
  • for unvaccinated persons, a negative PCR test carried out within 72 hours prior to departure or a negative antigen test carried out within 48 hours prior to departure;
  • for recovered persons, a positive result of an RT-PCR or antigen test carried out more than 11 days and less than six months before the journey.

    They must also submit self-certification to the Shipping Company

The rules apply to passengers aged 12 and over.
Truck drivers are exempt.

IMPORTANT: If the documents are missing, embarkation will be refused.

Crossings Santa Teresa - Bonifacio - Santa Teresa

Passengers travelling to Corsica must present at boarding

Entry into Italy from France

According to the decree of the Minister of Health of 18/06/2021, entry into Italy is allowed from 21/06/2021 to 30/07/2021 under the following proof:

  • max. 48h old negative Covid test (PCR or antigen test). Children under 6 years of age are exempt from testing OR
  • Confirmation of a complete vaccination cycle of the Covid vaccination for at least 14 days OR
  • Confirmation of Covid-19 recovery. 

It is mandatory to complete the online registration through the digital passenger localisation form https://app.euplf.eu.

Only in case of technical problems in using the platform, you can still use the self-declaration, a form that must be printed out and kept for the duration of the journey.

Transport Elba and Tuscan Archipelago

Free travel is allowed between regions (without self-certification) that are in the yellow or white zone, while a permit or green certificate is required for regions in the orange or red zone.

The decree provides that the authorisation states the following:

  • the effected Covid19 vaccination, or
  • recovery from Covid19 disease, or
  • the negative result of a rapid molecular or antigenic test carried out less than 48 hours previously.

    Vaccination and recovery certificates are valid for 6 months.

Travel will furthermore only be allowed for the following reasons: health, transport of goods, return to permanent/temporary residence, for professional reasons or for necessary/urgent reasons. Self-certification is also required for each of these cases.
